Raphaela_106[1]Raphaela graduated top of her class with a record-breaking First Class Honours Degree from the Concervatory of Music and Drama, DIT, under the tutelage of Anne-Marie O’Sulivan. She furthered her studies in Belgium where she graduated top of her class with a distinction from Flanders Opera Studio. Raphaela’s most notable roles to date are ‘Bradamante’, ‘Ottavia’, ‘Cherubino’, ‘Genevieve’, ‘Orfeo’, ‘Euridice’, ‘Glasha’, ‘Idamante’, ‘Tessa’ & ‘Mrs Buttercup’. She has sung as a chorister and/or as a soloist with Opera Ireland, Lyric Opera, Scottish Opera, Co-Opera, Anna Livia Opera & Glasthule Opera. She is no stranger in the field of oratorio having sung as a soloist many times with OLCS, CCS, WCS and RTE. Raphaela is a regular concert performer with the RTE National Symphony & Concert Orchestra and the Irish Baroque Orchestra throughout Ireland. Future performances include a tour with the Irish Baroque Orchestra, guest soloist with the Glasnevin Musical Society in the NCH and the role of ‘Bianca’ in The Rape of Lucretia with IYO which will premier in Wexford in September.
